Home Additions & Room Extensions in San Antonio
Add the space you need with seamless additions that look like they were always there.
Common Additions problems
What San Antonio homeowners tell us before they call
Running out of space but not ready to move
A well-designed addition costs less than a comparable move and lets you stay in the neighborhood you already love — without settling for someone else's floor plan.
Foundation failures on Bexar County clay
San Antonio's expansive clay soil moves seasonally. Additions on generic spec footings pull away from the house within years. Engineered footings sized to the actual soil are non-negotiable.
Exteriors that obviously don't match
Nothing hurts resale value like an addition that looks bolted on. We source local brick, color-match stucco, and tie rooflines in so the addition reads as original from the curb.

An addition that looks like it was always there
The best additions are the ones nobody can tell are additions. That’s the bar we build to — exterior materials sourced to match, rooflines tied in cleanly, finishes carrying through the threshold so the new space reads as part of the original house.
What we add
- Family-room and great-room expansions that finally give you the space you need
- Primary-suite additions (bedroom + bath + closet) attached to the existing house
- In-law and guest suites with separate or shared entry
- Detached ADUs and casitas for multi-generational living or rental income
- Bonus rooms over garages, second-story additions, and sunrooms
The foundation work clay soil requires
San Antonio sits on expansive clay (the famous Houston Black series). It moves with moisture, which is why so many older homes have foundation cracks. New additions need foundations that move with the original house — not against it.
We work with a structural engineer to specify engineered concrete footings, post-tension or pier-and-beam where appropriate, and proper soil prep. Skipping this step is how additions end up pulling away from the original house within a few years.
Permits, inspections, and the paperwork side
Additions trigger structural review at San Antonio Development Services Department. If you’re in Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, or another historic district, you may also need HDRC approval and a Certificate of Appropriateness. We manage the submittal, the corrections, and the inspections — framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, insulation, and final — through the entire build.
Why homeowners pick us
Same process. Same crew. Same fixed price.
We engineer for San Antonio soil
Bexar County's expansive clay moves seasonally. Our additions sit on engineered concrete footings sized to the actual soil — not generic spec details — so the addition doesn't pull away from the original house.
Exterior matching that actually matches
Brick, stucco, stone, and roofing have to age into the existing house. We source local brick, color-match stucco, and use roofing that blends with the existing field — so the addition reads as original.
Permits and inspections handled
From San Antonio Development Services Department submittal through framing, MEP, and final inspections — we own the paperwork and the schedule so you don't chase the city.

What homeowners say
4.9 stars across 200+ Houzz reviews
50% of our projects come from direct referrals. Here's why.
"From the first design-center visit to the final walkthrough, we had one point of contact and one price that never moved. Our kitchen is unrecognizable in the best way."
"They removed a load-bearing wall and turned three cramped rooms into an open living space. The crew was the same faces every day for weeks — that mattered."
"Our walk-in shower is gorgeous and finally accessible for my mom. They handled the layout, plumbing, and waterproofing without us chasing anyone."
"We added an in-law suite and you genuinely cannot tell it wasn't part of the original house — the brick and roofline match perfectly."
"Transparent budgeting was the whole reason we picked them, and they delivered. No surprise change orders, no hidden fees."
